Calling Out to Me

Oh, what the hell, hit me with your best shot!

LOL!

1) I think we met over at legolas_eowyn or, at least, bonded over the pairing!

2) Maurice, of course!

3) I admire the way you handle the separation from your husband.

4) The picture of your wedding cake.

5) Where does your username come from?

6) Hmm. I think I like Old Yeller Kids best :-)

Lovers

Aw, you sweetie, you!

That wedding cake was all sugary fondant.

L/E is one of the few reason I'm still in the LotR fandom after all these years.

My username is actually from a story I'm still trying to write, have been trying to write for years. In it, Syien Island is the name of a manor home situated on the a small mountain that overlooks a village. It borrows heavily on Japanese culture.

As for the Old Yeller Kids...

That sounds interesting -- makes me think of Sesshomaru.

I love the dog!

Okaaaay....

1) I'm pretty sure we friended because of Draco/Hermione -- was it the dramione friending post?

2) Obviously Harry Potter, but more specifically Snarry! You're the only person on my f-list who writes Snarry.

3) You have some amazing ideas for drabbles! (Or is that envy? ;-)

4) Erm... I remember bookmarking one of the aforementioned drabbles. Let me see... (Scans Favourites). The Road to Hell. For its last line.

5) Where does your username come from?

6) They're all quite surreal... I think I like Catfight best!

No, I never did the friending post, but it was dramionedrabble for sure because my first posts were the anti-romance set for their Valentine's Day challenge this year. And if not that, then it was dmhgchallenge.

When I was in grade school, my girlfriends and I pretended to be princesses and duchesses, so that's the second half of my username. When I got to college, I joined a SF/Fantasy/Horror group called Cepheid Variable, which is the name for a particular grouping of stars, so that's what I chose for the first half.

The three dark images are from some artist (I need to track down these images again) who took old paperback books and cut the images from the covers in such a way that he could stand them up and create these scenes. They are cool, I admit!

Yes, I remember commenting on your non-romantic drabbles!

It's a nice username.

I didn't realise the images were sculptures. They work really well.

Owing to the beginnings of Alzheimer's, I looked at your username, and then at your icon, and I thought, "Haven't I already..."

Okay...

1) I think you friended me and I friended you back, but I seem to remember that I'd already friended quoshara, so maybe that's how we 'met'.

2) Obviously Rufus Sewell, but also The Histories.

3) We have similar tastes, so when you post about your interests, or recommend things, it's quality time!

4) I remember being impressed that your writing had been published!

5) Is it easy to be a co-author?

6) Oh wow! You have a Richelieu icon! (Goes off to make herself a Richelieu icon, too).

It's easier for me to be a co-author than it is to write on my own -- I feel driven and confident to explore in a way I rarely am alone. But I do know this is not for everyone and some people find it more inhibiting -- a real 'horses for courses' thing.

Yes -- I can't imagine writing with anyone else. At work, I listen to what other people have to say, then distill it all, and write it up, and then -- begrudgingly! -- allow them to check it.

I have found a wonderful picture of Richelieu and Buckingham.

dramione_shoulder

LOL!

1) It was definitely the dramione friending post!

2) Obviously Dramione!

3) I think you must have read and commented on all the stories in every fic exchange/challenge ever, and your comments are always detailed and honest, and if you don't understand or agree with something you say so, but without hurting anybody's feelings.

4) Closed Door, LOL!

5) Do you think of yourself as a writer or an artist?

6) Hmmm... Well, I like 'Yummy', and also 'HP = love', but I think I like 'Lady in red' best!

*blushes* I don’t really deserve the compliment, though. I start out every challenge determined to read and comment all but then slack off and end up not having enough time to comment if I want to read all before casting the votes or whatnot. But I managed to give you that impression, didn’t i? :)

As for your question, I guess there’s no easy answer for it. I can’t really choose 1 between the two; and for me right from the moment an idea for a story emerges it’s either un-writable but meant to be drawn (I’m thinking manga here) or un-drawable but meant to be written. One thing I know for sure, though, is that I’m a story-teller whether in pictures or words.

I’m kinda a bit busy with exams atm (but don’t want to miss out on the fun XD), so sorry for getting back to you a lil bit late
