Day 24

Click on the 'door' to open!

Fandom: The Lord of the Rings, Fourth Age (after the War of the Ring)
Pairing: Legolas/Eowyn
Rating: R
Disclaimer: The Lord of the Rings and its characters were created by JRR Tolkien and brought to the screen by Peter Jackson. No offence is intended and no profit is being made by borrowing them for use in this story.
Author's Notes: If you haven't read any of my earlier Legolas/Eowyn stories, this will be crack!fic :-) However, see Day 1 for background.

Sorry I'm so late with this part. I spent the entire day cooking 'Christmas Dinner' for my brother and sister-in-law and, for once, every course turned out really well! The beetroot soup, however, left my kitchen looking like a crime scene.

Shiny!

Yay! You did, indeed, manage an excellent ending in one more episode.

So - Haldir has to go back to collect the lamp now?

Glad the dinner went well. I only have to do it once, on the day!

I'm glad you liked the ending! They will be rescuing the Djinn early in the New Year.

Hope you had a good Christmas. (Mine has proved very different from past Christmases now that both parents have gone).

gold snowflake

We had a quiet day yesterday, church, presents (all very acceptable!), lunch and lay around watching TV and reading new books.

Today will be busier - my Mum is coming for tea, as are my sister and her family. My Mum still lives independantly in a village in the far north of the island, although she prefers to spend her Christmas day with her dog, and her own choice of tV programme, which I can quite understand - I might feel the same, I think!

She is coming up 82, so I don't know how many more Boxing Day teas we will have her for. Like you, it will be odd when that time comes.

I know how it is. I spend all my time alone, so my 'friends' are the the people listen to on Radio 3, and I really miss them when I'm staying with family at Christmas!

Hope Boxing Day went well.
